A field game for Mexico's birds

Name That Bird

Match each bird to its name before the clock runs out. The map widens as you go: the home coast, then Guerrero and its sierra, then all of southern Mexico. Every bird was photographed in the field by William Mertz.

How to play

  1. Tap a bird photo, then tap the name you think matches it. (Either order works.)
  2. A green check and a chirp mean you got it — a red X and a squawk mean try again.
  3. Clear the board before the clock hits zero. Each round changes the rules.
